Shawn Craver is an Appalachian ballad singer, instrumentalist, and storyteller whose music is shaped by years of traveling the American West. His repertoire reaches into the shadows of traditional song—the murder ballads, ghost stories, and supernatural tales, where beauty and unease exist side by side with humanity and humor.

Craver has performed across the country, including at the North Texas Irish Festival and the Kansas State Fiddling Championships, and has shared stages with acclaimed artists such as Altan, Chris Thile, and Bonnie Rideout.

His work also extends into the literary world. Most recently, a[[earing on a panel with New York Times bestselling author Maria Dahvana Headley, exploring the connections between traditional music, mythology, and literature.
